Sister Tracey
Tracey, Mother, sister, aunty, friend. My professional background has been quite varied, from working in the prison service, health and social care sector and for the past ten years I have worked in education as a teacher, mentor, safeguarding lead and am currently completing my training in becoming a counsellor. Outside of work, my interests lie in the creative arts, and have worked with young people to find a voice using the power of song. I am mother to an amazing adult son and daughter and couldn't have done this successfully without my amazing village; so joining MAG has given me this unique and humbling opportunity to widen that experience and be part of this special village as a trustee.
Tracey
Brother Stepthen
Stephen Dyett - I am a dedicated husband, father, and son and recently completed a BA Hons degree in social work. My journey in the frontline youth work sector began nearly three decades ago, starting with volunteering in 1995. Growing up in Hackney, I was inspired by the incredible youth workers who supported me during my adolescence, fuelling my passion to give back and become the change I wish to see. I am committed to professional development for myself and others and strive to foster growth and positive change in my community. I deeply love good music and movies, which enrich my life and provide balance. As Frederick Douglass once said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men,” a quote that resonates deeply with my mission and values.
About Us
Our Aims and Mission
Who Are We?
Boys Are Born Men Are Made
Manhood Academy Global (MAG) is a BAFTA-nominated registered charity dedicated to guiding young people—especially boys—through transformative rites of passage.
We specialise in manhood - helping boys explore identity, emotional strength, purpose, leadership, and positive masculinity. Our core belief? If we don’t initiate the boy, he will burn the village down just to feel the warmth.
But our impact doesn’t stop there.
We also work with young girls, run mixed group sessions, and offer tailored programmes for parents and carers—because when the whole village is supported, everyone rises.
Our team also partners with schools, professionals, and local authorities, bringing trauma-informed, culturally relevant practice into the spaces that need it most.
From group mentoring and rites of passage retreats to parent circles, workshops on consent and respect, academic coaching, and emotional literacy—we create spaces where transformation is not just possible, it’s expected.
This is real work. On real streets. With real people.

Why Our Work Matters – Reflections from Adolescence on Netflix
The Netflix show Adolescence lays bare what we at Manhood Academy Global (MAG) have seen for over a decade—our boys are struggling, and not enough is being done.
The stats don’t lie. Rising school exclusions. Increased youth violence. Alarming mental health breakdowns. Boys are slipping through the cracks, and society is still whispering when it should be shouting.
At MAG, we’ve been holding space for over 10 years, helping boys navigate masculinity, trauma, identity, and power—with humour, honesty, culture, and care. Our work is deep, hands-on and heart-led, and it’s never been more needed.
If Adolescence struck a chord, don’t just watch - act.
